There's a strike today in Santiago.

I don't have much information but there are no conchos today, only the A route and the M route are working (according to a concho driver).

If I get more specifics I'll post them here.

I use both route G and M to get to my office. Neither of them are running as of 9:30am this morning.

A day with no conchos on the road. It must be like driving in heaven. Perhaps the will go on strike every day.

Is Uber already operating in Santiago? If so, isn't the strike giving Uber a monopoly on service during a sensitive period in the motocochos business cycle?

I said the same thing to my husband when they were talking about it in SD - go on strike, and force people to try Uber because there are no taxis running. Genius. Not.

Yes. You are absolutely correct. I know its cocktail hour but have you forgotten who we are dealing with. Us gringos just can't compete with this level of stupid
