Super Pola has rye bread in their bakery aisle right next to the English muffins if you can't find fresh baked in the above mentioned bakeries.

In Santiago you can buy german Rye Bread in Bravo and National. Imported from Germany Label Mestemacher. I think 138 Peso for a package of 10 pieces. All Germans I know here in Santiago buy it I do it myself its very good

la sirena in POP has it sometimes, in the fridge with cheese, yogurts and so on. bottom shelf, with wraps, other breads and so on.

Not to hijack the thread but on a related topic, does anyone know where to buy good pickled cucumbers? Have to be in own brine, i.e. no vinegar added.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be so sure about that. He was supposed to be back on 1st November, then the sign was extended to Mid of November, and now it's pretty much vacation without deadline.

Missing him every morning...

Thank you, guys! I've been to Dicks' many times but never saw it there. I'll ask them.

Super Pola in POP didn't have it, neither did Playero. Where's that German bakery in Sosua?

german bakery is very close to pola. you enter pola from antonio javier street. go all the way down that street, it splits right/left. turn left. the bakery is on the corner.

Super Pola in Sosua yesterday had plenty of European Bakery brand rye in bread area next to the English muffins just past the eggs.

Thanks for the tip about rye bread at Super Pola. Yes every morning I miss Moser bakery too! There is a very dense rye in Playero near the Moser
rack. It gets quite hard when toasted but for me better than any other bread at Playero.
