POP: american arrested for "kidnapping" a 17 year old

And can someone tell me why she (17), was having dinner with him (59) in the first place ??? Who's fooling who ???

He is 59 FFS, Old enough to be her grand dad even in her twenties !!

I know 3 Dominican Men in their 60's PERSONALLY , who have children with 20- 25 year old Dominican Ladies ...
and one very Rich Italian 70 year old.. I think he is 70, i can ask him if you want.
their babies are VERY well taken care of..
Care to lecture them also , or just Americans ?

This North American Mindset fascinates me to no end..

but yes, 17 is out of the question.

I am not North American. It s probably much more common in my culture, than it is in the DR. It s not a lecture, it s from what I have seen. Sorry grand Pa ;)

I do hope my daughter doesn't bring me no balding men at home, I would be disappointed in her and would have no respect for him. Being well taken care of for 10 years and 2.5 minutes is pointless. I know fascinating

I have friends whose father, remarried women as old as their daughter, it makes all of them (sons and daughters) uncomfortable. Equally fascinating.:)

At the end of the day, I don't care, 2 consenting "adults", but 17 is 17 (and most 17 years old try to look older).

i agree with you, wholeheartedly. just about every one of these gringos who are 60, but have a 20 year old novia, are getting burned by some motoconcho jockey. it has to happen. that is the comfort level of the girl. when she wants a good rocking, she wants it from some guy in her age group, not a guy who has to gulp down a wheelbarrow full of Cialis.

This is funny. Interesting and funny as you have seen far too much of the world we live in for me to have guessed that you would be so age conscious (over the age of consent). As for the old Dude and the 17 year old, if he didn't know, now he and everyone in earshot of his predicament understands that he should have. Having said that, it's not like she was set to graduate high school and lose her cherry at the prom. She's probably got a Kid or two already.

My 3rd Wife was 3 years younger then my oldest Daughter. Nobody was the least bit concerned about it because we had no problem keeping up with one another in any area. She's an old soul and I'm a young spirit. Sometimes the cards are just dealt like that. My Father's Brother married a 30 year old Woman when he was 60, they had 3 Kids together and he was 85 when she died from cancer. Sometimes the cards are just dealt like that.

If my 21 year old Daughter brought home a 60 year old Guy about whom she is serious I'd have faith that she's not doing so without putting a whole lot of thought into her action and I'd expect him to be a pretty amazing individual. As long as they can find a lifetime of happiness together (regardless of the length of that lifetime) they'd have my full blessing. It's more than most can manage, regardless of age or circumstance.

Many young girls here actively seek a novio, or two, or three, twice or three times their age. Most of these girls have children of their own and they need someone who will look after them financially. Most of these arrangements are with the full consent of both parties.

as a matter of fact, in many cases the hunt is aided and abetted by the parents, notably the mother, since the whereabouts of daddy are usually a mystery. last week i saw the 15 year old daughter of a lady who lives on my building heading out in a very short dress and stiletto heels, purporting to be heading off to school. no way. she was off to meet some guy in a jeepeta, for an afternoon romp. i was tempted to ask her mom if she thought it was appropriate for her daughter to be leaving home like that at that hour of the afternoon, but i bit my tongue.

try to imagine your parents?response if your sister went through the door like that.
