have friends vacationing in samana and wish to visit us in sosua. I don't see any caribe bus from there to here. Is there anyway other then taxi? any help appreciated...tom

There is a bus company called Transporte Las Terrenas that runs a bus to Puerta Plata once a day. They can get on this and ask to get off in Sosua which is on the route of the bus. Bus leaves at 6:30 AM. You can call the bus depot in Las Terrenas at809-240-5302 to get all the info. They would have to get to LT. It might be easier for the them to rent a car for a few days. It is an easy ride from Samana City to Sosua. You take Rt 5 all the way. It is a little tricky coming through Nagua but once you pass this city its a straight shot. Good luck and good travels.
