I have been many times visiting the DR and lived there for 1,5 years - but unfortunatly I never made it to Pico Duarte. I will go on vacation at the end of February and I want to make this trip this time. I will stay in San Pedro.
What would you suggest is the best way to do it? I was told that we should calculate 3 days, on to get there, on to go up and one to return to San Pedro. Do we need a guide? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
