What is a reasonable rate to have a form notarized in this country? It is a form for The Ministry of Transportation in Ontario Canada.
Nothing reasonable as far as I know. I believe you need an attorney and can expect to pay about 3000 pesos. We needed a form notarized for US last year and suffered sticker shock because back home it's normally free at your bank, etc
I had a form notarized in Puerto Plata about a year and a half ago. That lawyer charged me 600 pesos.
Good to know. The Canadian embassy wants $100US. I approached one lawyer who wants 1500DP. At home I could have done it for free at The Ministry of Transportation.
