I have some TCL manufactured TVs for sale:

43" LED 4K Slim Bezel - 28,000 DOP

49" LED 4K Slim Bezel SMART TV - 32,000 DOP

50" LED 4K Slim Bezel - 32,000 DOP

65" LED 4K Slim Bezel - 75,000 DOP


These are state of the art 4K TVs. I imported them directly from TCL in China, hence why the prices are far better than anywhere else on the island.

Who and where for warranty service, and what is covered and for how long..........

Why pay for 4K when there is almost zero content to take advantage of? Heck, most people aren't even seeing 1080p unless they are viewing bluray DVDs. Waste of money, for now, ESPECIALLY in the DR.

Good point; future-proof is one thing. Future-proof in a land where the humidity kills electronics in 2-3 years taints the ROI.

4k videos are available on youtube and some netflex movies are also shown in resolution higher than 1080p. The newer point and shoot cameras are becoming more and more 4k ready. I do shoot 1080p videos but my new canon will be able to shoot in 4k video as well. I might just take advantage of it when filming special occasions.
Then if you notice the price gap between 4k and regular 1080p are almost disappearing. most new TVs sold in usa are almost all 4k. I see little price difference in between the 2 formats.

I personally Own 4K Players, and watch 4K content online, if you don't have access to that technology, does not mean others don't.
