Can you make Playa Fonton by foot or by ATV?

You can walk there, not sure about ATV. It is a long walk from Las Galeras, maybe 1 hour. I went on horse to Playa Madama, which is close. Probably you can go on horse or get close. Get a boat at the Las Galeras beach. Make sure to go to Playa Madama also. Be careful swimming at Playa Fronton. There are some dangerous currents. I know this!! Calmer swimming water at Playa Madama. I would allow 4 hours or so for the trip. Lots to explore!!

You can walk in from two directions. Either walk in from Las
Galeras over the mountain, which takes you down over the cliff. It is a more difficult hike because you go down over the cliff. It is steep but passable. It will bring you right onto Fronton with an awesome view. The second option is to drive to Boca Diablo and walk from there. It will take about an hour. Flat terrain through a rocky path in the jungle along the coast. Some nice views of the ocean along the way.
