i was not talking about the 15 million thingy. i was thinking about the one in the Times. it is bigger, has more land, etc, but that thing in Costambar is outrageous. your SIL took my buddy and i for a tour...

I just checked on the house I sold 13 years ago in a blue collar area of California on the east bay to the south of Oakland. The house is 1,763 square feet on a 60 foot by 80 foot piece of land, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in Fremont. Current price for such a house is $960,000. So the house in Cabrera is quite the bargain in comparison.

Looks very...industrial. Sort of a 70s "concrete jungle" kind of thing.

I don't think I'd want a thatched roof, but I don't want to feel like I'm living in a government building, either.

too close to the ocean for me.... wind, salty air, erosion
even the incessant sound of the surf gets to me

I prefer the birds' eye view....
