I cant find any info anywhere. I missed it last year due to the same reasons.

They really messed up when they changed the Merengue Festival dates to not Coincide with My beloved Quinepas.

is that right? the merengue festival was always at the end of july/beginning of august.

plus that calendar is for 2015

wow...ill miss it again

Maybe they learned something. Why close the malecon off when there is now a nice plaza to host the event. How can one listen to more than one band playing at a time.

I went in 2013 and it was a very nice event geared for locals and any tourists who just happened to be in town and knew about it. What does one expect from free concerts?
