Ok so I try again.

My name is Damarys. I am french but my parents are from DR (Santiago).

I am new to this forum. And my 1st post was closed only a few minutes later.
I am surprised to see the way you welcome new people!

Besides, english is not my native language (spanish and french are)... that is why I wrote in spanish.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say that I was going to travel to Santo Domingo for holidays, because I am planning to relocate there in 1 year or 2

I guess I will find a lot of information by myself on this forum.

Thanks!

Better.

You will need more than 10 posts for the ability to private message.

On the forum itself, no invitations for guides, escort, etc.

DR1 is not a pick up site.

Thank You and welcome...........

welcome damarys. Never met a person named Damarys I didn't like. enjoy the forum.

I stumbled when first getting on this forum. you'll get the hang of it. don't be dissuaded. We definitely need more Domincan voices here, including those filtered via France.

Bienvenida, Bon Jour, Welcome!! Being multi-lingual will be a big plus living in the DR. You might want to consider living on the Samana Peninsula in Las Terrenas. The is a very large ex-pat French and European community there. French, Italian and Spanish are widely spoken. Check out the Samana tourist guide at the top of the Northeast thread. Good luck and good travels.
