That is great, I hope this helps to restore the coral in the bay, although it is almost dead now it is still a prominent attraction of the Sosua beach.

One thing I hate to see is locals and tourists alike go to the reef and touch or stand on it, I know it is mainly rocks now, but that is the worst thing you can do to corals, hope they get this message across as no regeneration process will ever survive if visitors to the reef ignore the basic rules.

We need signs and education for both locals and tourists on location at the beach... (shouldn't cost much to put a few signs around).

We had made up some signs about a year ago and distributed them to the local Catamaran and Diving groups. We were actually talking about exactly that a couple days ago and will have more signs made and we will approach all of the tour groups and all of the new companies on the beach that offer snorkeling. As well, we are starting education classes in the local schools. Long process but it needsto start and start with education
