Circo de Paris, has anyone been? Please help support these events so they don't end up stop coming like Iguana Park did.

They have numerous troupes that tour.

We plan on going if they have handicapped seats for Mom CB...looking into it now.

One bit of humor: a standard ticket is RD$1500. BUT, if you buy stuff at La Sirena and accumulate 15 "stickers" (by purchasing at least RD$800 each time) you can buy two ticket for RD$1500.

So make 15 trips to LS and spend RD$12,000, get two tickets half-price...:cheeky: I LOVE Dominican Deal Math...

The Sirena/Super Pola "offer" is for the Cirque du Soleil different from the Cirque de Paris

Now I am beginning to get it.

Ticket prices for cirque de soleil start at 1.500 pesos for balcony seats.

Cirque de Soleil is at Palacio de deportes in Santo Domingo Centro? Cirque de Paris is on avenida luperon at the old air field where Iguana Park used to come? Or so I think. I still can't find ticket prices for Cirque de Paris.

Seems the difference is Paris is like a circus without animals, you know, jugglers, clowns, fire swallowers, etc.

Soleil is like an aerial opera with gymnasts in amazing costumes. This one is "ovo" with lots of interesting insects and critters...

I would imagine there is a big difference and each catering to a different clientele. Paris ticket prices start at $300 RD whereas Soleil prices start at $1,500 RD.

The big tent vs. the big indoor arena.

That is cheap for a cirque de soleil show. We saw saltambico in SD a few years back. Don't remember pricing but more than 1500 pesos. Varekai in sao paulo was about 250 USD per seat with VIP package. Vegas shows are mostly 120-200 USD.
