Actually I am presently in Baton Rouge LA. My pollito died and I abandoned it with a mechanic after spending 40,000 pesos on it since the first of the year. I had hoped to make a few bucks and buy a better car and maybe go back and try once more time, but it happens that my 70 year old body cannot put out work as fast as I did just a few years ago. After Katrina I made $1200 per week. But now I have had cards made up that say "Half Fast Drywall" We aren't real slow, nor are we real fast, we're just Half Fast. And about $600 per week is about all the work I can put out!
Will keep people informed on this site if I go back to my favorite corner of paradise andavailable once more as a pirate taxi.

DERF! Hope things work out for you in baton rouge. Ever been to Baby doll's? stumbled upon it once. delicious and inexpensive soul food. something called grandmas raisin cake is worth the trip. cheese spaghetti instead of mac n cheese. brisket, not too saucy. yum yum.
