Hi everyone,

So, I started my temporary residence renewal online. I uploaded all the documents and submitted them.
The next day, under status it says 'imprimir hoja de envio' or print the shipping sheet.
There are no instructions and the sheet just has my name, a number and the address of immigration in the capital.

I called the number which just has a very bad automated answering service and one I punched in my details, it just told me to send my documents to immigration.

I live in La Vega. I'm not sure how to send my documents, or whether I'd even trust sending them.

Does anyone have any ideas how to send them securely?

This seems so much more complicated than just going to the office to do the renewal in person like I've done for the last few years.

this, my fren, means that you download the page that pops up, print it out, hold it in your hand, haul your tooshie to DGM in SD, present the physical copies of your documents in the window 8 or 9, then they give you a letter confirming your application has been received, you sign some stuff, leave them the old residency, then you go to the till to pay up and voila.

in other words, that means your paperwork has been approved. prepare for a trip to capital. i suggest monday, in case of any issues you can stay the night or come back the next day.

I got the "imprimir hoja..." and so I can go down there instead of "enviar" my documents, right?
Also, can I pay w/ credit card or dollars?
Thanks for any help.

That's correct. Just bring copies of everything with you. No idea why anyone would trust sending docs to DGM. I think they only accept pesos(?).

I didn't send them. Just went to the office with the printer paper. Count a whole day spending in the officies.

No cash only! I had to go to the casino nearby they have a hidden cashing machine for employees.
If you have overstay they charge you, as well if you delayed the proces. I had to pay 28 thousand. Next day you can do the medical. Better to stay there because you pay 4500 for the medical and you have only 72 hours.

The OP is doing a temporary renewal. No medical required. Everything can be done in one day.
