Hello Everyone.
I had a trip to Santo Domingo back in June and now thinking about coming back to the DR this coming March or April. Not sure yet. Have some other places on my radar like Colombia, Indonesia or Philippines. I'm still interested in Santiago though and a town near it called Moca. I've been talking to some women in those areas from Dominican Cupid but these ladies seem like they may be semi-pro. Lol. Just wanted to know if Santiago is a more relaxing place than Santo Domingo and has anyone heard of Moca? Also what are some things to do there and how are the local pool of women there?

Women are women. I was writing to one and planned on going to meet her, but she didn't even know where she lived! Several times I asked her for directions to her home and she had no idea where she lived.

Lol. I had to read that a few times. Got a good chuckle out of that.

Well I'm not trying to get banned. Thought we could talk about women here. No worries. I will keep it travel related.

Ease up dude. OP did not ask about paid sex anywhere in his post. And dating is very much spoken about on DR1 especially in M&V section in case had you not noticed yet. And when you are at it, maybe you can also threaten Hillbilly to ban him for posting his golden rules for dating Dominican women.

What is your problem anyway?

Santiago is a little big city with lots to do.....Lots of places to go out depending on your taste, from high end to low end.... I would avoid visiting a place only for the women....If the place does not suit you, you might find yourself in a depressing situation.....

Santiago has many bars, clubs, gyms, theaters, restaurants, casinos but your Spanish needs to be decent in most cases. If you can do Bachata or Salsa you got an edge..... Nearby access to beaches by metro or caribe bus and Jarabacoa is neat place to visit too....Can't help you with Moca as it is a bit of a trip from the city.....And the city is full of lovely ladies ;)

Cool. I was doing a little reading and it seems like a more relaxed city than Santo Domingo. A place like that is more for me. If I remember correctly they have a rum distillery there as well I would like to check out among other things. Mountains are a plus too. My Spanish is good enough to get around. I would say advanced but not totally fluent. Slang gets me sometimes. As for the women that's a bonus in my book 😀.

Moca is a nice town and there are plenty non- Amazon sized women - don't worry about that. Unless you are going there to meet someone, you really need to be able to speak some Spanish. Santiago, La Vega, and Jarabacoa are all only about 20-25 minutes away.

I see 6 ft amazons with shorter guys all the time. Don't worry about how tall you are , only how many greenbacks you have.

Forget about the talk about being a short man, Santiago is more laid back than Santo Domingo, and as you have heard here, lots to do, and ladies to do it with. Anyway the important thing is how tall you are when standing on your wallet...lol....

I thought Moca was a great small city. The only drawback is with all small cities there are a lot of Motos and the noise can be disturbing.
I like women from Moca too. But like everything everywhere there are alot of losers out here looking for Sugar Daddies

"Bit of a trip"? It is one hour on the guagua and 15 miles away on the map. Mind you in your own car, 30 minutes.

Ok. That is good to keep in mind. As for the smaller cities it seems like I have a better time there. Same thing happened with me in Ponce Puerto Rico. Loved it better than San Juan.
