The car alarm fob has died on me.

The circuit board is corroded, etc..... has been home-fixed a few times so its in a bad state.
Anyway this time its not that it doesnt work, its that it works constantly !!!! Bad connection somewhere.

I would like to get a new one, but toyota santiago is a tad expensive ( well last time i went to ask, havent been this time ).
Its a seperate fob from the key fob. Model APS-OE2B.

First question, is will I be able to reprogram a new one myself ? The manual, downloaded from internet, seems to say yes.
But if anyone can confirm it would be nice.

Second question, is any idea where i could by one in santiago or puerto plata ?
They seem to be going at 30$ on ebay and amazon ( but there are none atm ).*
And it would just be more convinient to find one here.

Thanks in advance.

I got several off eBay with programing directions, they always worked for my Isuzu and Kia

I bought one here for my Santa Fe, they programmed it using a computer but it took a long while. Not something I could do myself. Might be different though if you have a working control.
