I have no plans on getting married anytime soon but I was wondering this; If I were to marry a Dominican woman does that grant me citizenship here?

Not automatically. You have to secure legal residency first, then you can apply for naturalization as the spouse of a Dominican.
Aren't the rules different for a man vs woman? *Or is that urban legend? *I thought it was easier for a woman marrying a Dominican man.*
nope. the law has changed a year or two ago. now both genders need to pass through the same process of obtaining residency first.
