Spanish schools/classes

Howdy folks, going to be in Santo Domingo shortly, for a 1 month but will probably extend.

Considering taking spanish lessons but did some google'ing and not really finding decent options, most seem way overpriced, like in the 1000s per month. Surely there are some cheaper options?
