I'm going to guess it was neither euthanasia nor euthineurope.

IMHO he was never funny. But a long life and may his memory be for a blessing.

And I guess he was Dominican or live in the DR, since he has been mentioned here.

Humor is subjective. For instance, I have no opinion on Corey, and except for Leno and Carson thought late-night humorist----especially today's crop---are actually unfunny and couldn't survive without a guy holding up a "Laugh Now" sign.

You're right. Look at the different THE OFFICE. I still can laugh about the UK original but about the US I cant even smile.

Really? I know the producer of the American version, so maybe that's why I think it's funny. Different humour, for sure. Ricky Gervais and Steve Carrell are wildly different actors, but when you add in John Krasinski.....

Oh. Oooooops. This thread is about Professor Irwin Corey. RIP.

Based on his obit in the NYTimes, he had absolutely no connection to the DR. Except that he made some of us laugh, from time to time.
