Thanks for posting this. My wife was supposed to fly out from SXM the 17th to SDQ right after we splash the boat from a haul out. Now I have the information I need complete with phone numbers to get my money refunded from Insel. It also gives me time to quickly buy another ticket for her on PAWA before the prices go up. It's still $340.00 where Insel was $265.00 RT.

If Insel Air are taken out of the SXM - SDQ route that leaves opportunity for another airline to take up the slack. PAWA's early morning flight from SXM are part filled with passengers connecting with Delta and those from Antigua plus some from SXM and the islands.

Riva do you know when Air century will start their SXM service from La Isabela......which would be a great place to fly from for me instead of SDQ with quick access using the ring road?

They currently fly using a Saab 340 to SJU from La Isabela at a fair price and good schedule 3 days a week:

So thats the reason why they changed the schedule in and out SXM, to make possible the conections with Delta to ANU. PAWA got the rights to sell tickets between SXM adn ANU thanks to they authorities from Antigua then thats part of the goal to have better conections into ANU.

No, they didnt say yet when will start service to SXM.
