Yes, we are in Punta Cana Village, near the airport. I believe that homeowners here get some kind of discount at the Las Canas golf club but not sure about tenants. I can find out if you like. Another advantage with PC Village is that Punta Cana International School is within walking distance. Punta Cana Resort and Club's more exclusive residential areas - Hacienda, Arrecife, Tortuga, Marina and Corales - are nearer the beach and golf courses but a little further from the school.
Cocotal is also a good place to live if you want access to a golf course and is near the main shopping centres Palma Real and San Juan. I don't know anyone in White Sands - it seems a bit out of the way and you'd have to drive to get anywhere, opposed to PC Village and Cocotal where you have shops and entertainment within walking distance.
Iberostar is near the Bávaro Bilingual school.
Cap Cana and the comparatively affordable Cuidad las Canas for Heritage School.
I would avoid Pueblo Bávaro and Residencial Bávaro-Punta Cana due to increasing problems with security and maintenance.
There are more and more options that I have not mentioned - I have concentrated on places near the schools and golf courses. Best recommendation would be to come and drive around and compare the pros and cons of each.
