I could not agree with you more.

The following map paints the best picture I found all day

    https://www.wunderground.com/wunderm...ellite=1&hur=1

Zoom out (top left) then on the right side of the screen on the tool bar use the "opacity" lever to
get a clear picture. check the "radar" and "severe" options for different views.

first samples of Irma here in el Cortecito in Punta Cana ... certain it's from our Girl... weather out of NNW instead of the usual east .. a nice drink of rain and a healthy breath of wind... and the first of the dead palm fronds falling.   Put your Kevlar Helmet on!!!   just a very short preview to the full show scheduled for later tonight.

At least for now, the Las Terranas beach webcam that was previously posted is functioning again.

Try to keep Cortesea safe for all those condo owners who are not there!!

If I were still living on the north coast after looking at the map I just posted..
I'd be making arrangements to leave today.

I know four people who decided to "ride it out" in New Orleans when Katrina hit
and all of them we're dead less then 48 hours later. Why gamble on something
so dangerous you can easily avoid ?
