Oh, gee, another corruption case coming to light. Shocker.

Diandino Peña, de main engineer behind the Metro project, was put on the spot, as they say, by Alicia Ortega. Apparently, he has a lot of off shore companies registered in the British Virgin Islands that he 'forgot' to include in his declaration of income and wealth that is required for all government officials. He has millions of dollars more than he declared.

This guy was put under so much pressure by Alicia, who constantly contradicted what he said with documented evidences on hand, that his ears turn red!!!! For a person of his color to have his ears turn that red, you know this is serious!! lol

Funny...no matter whether rich, poor, educated, uneducated...same answer "no fue yo" or the more "sophisticated" "bueno".

Diandino went to Zolfm radio station to reinforce his 'innocence' and, according to him, protect the honor of his family.

It's an hour long, but you can jump around on the timeline and listen to whatever sounds interesting.

Why would he even conceded to have the interview, knowing everything he has done and the type of investigation done by Alicia on her program.

Nurya would have done the same and rip him in pieces.

Stupid is as stupid does, the guy is just another "ladron" with government blessings as other many. History just jeeps repeating itself.

Who believes these kind of investigative journalists aren't driven by a political agenda / political interests is naive to say the least.

agreed. better to remain silent and be thought a thief than to speak and remove all doubt.

He was invited under the pretension that the interview was going to be about the Metro. It really started that way, but then Alicia slipped in a question about the companies he owns and it went downhill (ok, ok; it went off a cliff!!!) from there.

I'm shocked Danilo reacted swiftly.

He's yet another useful idiot to toss in the pile fo rubbish. He truly thought the conversation would be about something that will make him proud?

The word metro should've been a clue for this horses ass.

It would be a good start, if it becomes standard operating procedure for the Govt., "If you get caught, you're gone." We can work building ethics later.
