According to Ryanair's website the partnership they announced with Air Europa will mean they'll be flying to Latin America, including DR.

Hopefully this helps to lower the ridiculous 1200+ euro flights I'm finding with Air France , Iberia and Air Europa.
Look into Evelop, a charter carrier also.
Evelop Airlines, branded as evelop!, is a Spanish charter airline based at Palma de Mallorca Airport, that operates a selection of short and long haul flights out of Spain and Portugal on behalf of tour operators. It is owned by Barceló Viajes. It is a subsidiarity of Orbest, an airline bought by Barceló Group in 2013 following the collapse of Orizonia Corporation.
