hoy reports that dominican government (presidency twitter account, to be more precise) is among most active governments of twitter, according to a recent study by twiplomacy:

i do not do twitter or social media but i check dominican government entities and their tweets fairly regularly. they are pretty much up to date and they report tons of information. from PN to MOPC, various government organisations are very active online and a great source of info about incidents and accidents, arrests, traffic updates, deaths and births.
