For me, there are two things to keep in mind when deciding on which shoes to wear on a flying day: a) wear whatever’s comfortable b) choose shoes appropriate to the weather. In my case, it’s always the same choice. The air ventilation is perfect, so I’m never too hot. I may not lace them all the way up when I walk to the plane, but it’s always chiller when in the air. I feel comfortable wearing them everywhere, so why would I get something else for flying?
