I really don't know why it dropped, but I had a tentative itinerary saved in Google flights for a trip to the DR in Nov. and Dec. of this year. I am "stuck" in the US until early November because of work issues, so was looking for early November to mid December dates.
Two days ago I checked the itinerary I had saved (Buffalo to Santiago on Nov. 6 and return on Dec. 10) and marked to follow and to my great delight found that the round trip ticket, taxes included had dropped to $387.40.
Anyone want to guess how fast I jumped on it?
