Could have felt the replica in Santo Domingo because the USG is showing the San Jose de Ocoa earthquake was at 5:25pm.

not felt in zona colonial and all the buildings are standing up which is against many writers predictions about construction work here

Wait for one that shakes the ground for a couple of minutes or longer, then check your skyline again.

It has been an uncharacteristically active the past few weeks around Puerto Rico and the DR. 65 tremors in the last week alone. 5 in the Mona Passage, 2 in the DR itself.

165 in the same region in the past 30 days of 2.5 or greater magnitude. 6 in the DR and a bakers dozens off the east and SE coast of the island. The NNE section of the Caribbean Plate is rocking and rolling these days.

I am going to backmore than 400 years of history as far as the capital goes ..termites have been bringing buildings down but not tremors .

4.7......that's not an earth quake, a tremor , ofcourse buildings didn't fall. I wouldn't wish for a 7.x near SD.
