Prescriptions for sexual stimulants

The Ministry of Public Health has announced that soon prescriptions will be required to purchase sexual stimulants. Public Health Minister, Altagracia Guzmán Marcelino justifies the need to restrict the sale given the present irrational use of sexual stimulants in combination with drugs and energy drinks that has lead to many deaths, especially of young men.

In the Dominican Republic Cialis, Viagra and others are sold without prescription.

For years, the Dominican Cardiology Society has warned of the significant increase in heart attacks in persons 14 to 30 years of age.

Andrés Martín, president of the Dominican Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery said that members are seeing an increasing number of stroke victims the result of the consumption of cocaine and sexual stimulants.

José Miguel Gómez, a past president of the Dominican Sexology Society, said many years back they had requested the Ministry of Public Health take control of the sexual stimulant sales.

NYC-SDQ BABY!
Mixing viagra/cialis with hardcore drugs is a bad idea but i didnt know energy drinks were causing heart attacks too? Sighs. But the black market is about to boom with these things (which will probably result in more heart attacks since they have no clue what theyre ingesting) while the farmacias take a hit in sales. Well some of you people better stock up now. D.R. law has spoken

I can't help but laugh at this while thinking that there is no way the pharmcies in Sosua are going to want to comply when so many foreign visitors first stop is in their stores to pick up their supply of Black Mambo or Calais so they can start their vacation.

I'll bet this doesn't apply to the guys walking up and down the beaches selling it. In fact it will probably get them more business.

It probably wouldn't cost more than 200-300RD to get a scrip refill from a real physician after an initial CP function check.

How soon will a cart show up on Pedro Clisante in Sosua with a Dominican Doc, a prescription pad and a pen? Or just rename one of the clinics in the area to Clinica Viagara

Anyone who has done 5 minutes research on Viagra knows that it was in clinical trials for the treatment of Angina (rhymes with punani) when the side effect was discovered and with a little fine tuning they came up with a drug that took guys off the bench and put them back into the starting lineup. Among the cautions which are posted with this drug is: "Do not take with nitrates as this may cause a severe drop in blood pressure."

Also when mixed with any substance which might cause an increase in blood pressure like megadoses of caffeine or cocaine or any other stimulant the resulting condition is what is commonly referred to as "speedball" as the heart rate varies, sometimes wildly as the two substances compete for control of the cardio-pulmonary system, reducing the body's own ability to regulate the heart rate.

Not researching the effect of what one puts into their bodies or just not caring should be evidence enough that this individual will finally find a way to end their life prematurely at some point with or without the help of an ED drug. The package also warns not to consume the drug without 1st consulting a physician. I think that the D R has decided to comply with prescription requirements to limit potential liability and I think it was a very wise move, especially with ED drugs being a prevalent factor in the deaths of younger men who are going for that "Superman effect".

I've seen European men on one or two week Viagra/cocaine binges at the resorts in Playa Dorada. Usually see them passed out by the pool or on the beach during the day. They are not going to read the labels. They simply don't give a rats heinie. The new laws won't restrict access. It will increase black market sales of pirated products containing fentanyl or other trauma inducing narcotics. Expect an increase in the number of tourists deaths among foreign males on the North coast. The government is closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. It's too little too late.

I suspect it will be repealed 60 days after going into effect. I think the cause will be an ancillary reason, decreased remesas. If an old guy cant get his rocks off, at will, then he wont find a reason to put his hot young tenderoni on the WU Payroll.

And if the animacion dancer Pablo cant stick it to the big backed Canadian women who came to the resort to see him then he too cant finesse her for marriage and some WU money to take care of "his sister" and his "four nephews".

Remesas make the world go round.
