    Most of these earthquakes , if you are not standing on the epicenter ,can be masked by a large truck passing with a load of gravel. We get a lot of gravel trucks in the north shore, especially in the Puerto Plata area.
    I am just thankful they are not similar to Mexico.
    In Nova Scotia Canada we get tremors which are from small earthquakes virtually everyday.
    A couple of years ago there was an earthquake here in Luperon that virtually caused the house to vibrate... yup! Scared me for the moment. What was amazing was that the kids thought it an inconvenience to get out of the house. Go figure!

    DRones are pretty good at saying, "hey did you feel that?" Granted most of these little shakes go unnoticed by all of except the most schizoid of dogs and elephants. I don't post anything less than a 3.0 for that very reason. I think it is important to be aware that our little island shakes with a frequency that is higher than most are probably aware of.
