    Default Azua Ring Road

A latest Google Earth picture shows that the ring road to Azua is progressing well and the stated opening date of June next year looks possible.

This will make journeys west bound from the capital much better and now we can only hope for the promised start of the ring road to Bani too.

These two ring roads alone will improve/speed up significantly local and foreign tourist access to some lovely sections of coastline in Peravia and Azua provinces and the southern mountains too.

The Bani one is important, it seems to take FOREVER to get from the park through the city and on to Azua. Skinny little streets, lights, traffic, pedestrians. That one will really make a difference

Looks like we will have to wait a lot longer for the Bani ring road....

Funding allocation alone makes it look unlikely soon and the tendering process appeared to have been flawed with very little time allowed to bid.
