PUJ’s VIP Lounge to have its own swimming pool
Travelers will be able to enjoy the ambience of Punta Cana one last time before returning to their home cities. In Punta Cana International Airport’s VIP lounge, you’ll be able to take a dip in an infinity pool prior to boarding your plane. The new VIP lounge facilities include the panoramic outdoor swimming pool that will open in December 2017. The pool was designed by Dominican architect Antonio Segundo Imbert, nephew to Oscar Imbert, the architect who first gave the Punta Cana International Airport its distinct look with thatched roofs.

Punta Cana International Airport is the Latin American country that receives the most direct flights from the largest number of airports in the region. The airport is also adding a separate US customs and immigration pre-clearance facility.
