How much for a Gomero in SD (Av. Luperon / Independencia area)?

Asking here before they get ideas, ya know what I mean... :D

Repair or new tire?

Matilda is clearly a repair...
Repairs depend on where you are and , to an extent, who you are.... witness her

Anything at 100 or less is good by me.... and I pay 50-100 here in Cabrera... normal price for a plug

I use a gomero on Independencia near the corner of Amin Abel Hasbún who patches tires for 200 pesos.

That's probably within the price range near Luperón.

Another factor is the tire jockey....
his price may vary day-day or hourly...

depending how close to lunchtime and the money in his pocket....
RD economics.........

Mission accomplished.

20 meters after the Esso Gas Station is a Gomero (well equipped, recommended). Paid 150 DOP. Took 15 minutes.

No universal price

50 to 100 in Bavaro. Have them remove the tire from the wheel and do a proper patch. Plugs quite often do not work. FYI the going rate for a passenger car flat repair in western Canada is $27.00 to $35.00
100 pesos is dirt cheap

Lol, in my case I doubt MOPC would come to my garage doing it. :D

I did not realize it yesterday and the air went out over night little by little. Found out this morning.

Quick warning: one of the tricks they have here is when you go to fill up your tire with air, a guy nearby will be really helpful and say "I'll help you". He has a nail hidden in his hand and plunges it in your tire when you're turned away. Then when he's "helping" you he says: "hey, did you know you have a nail in this tire?" I can fix it for you (or my friend across the street) only $200 pesos.

That is quite a stretch. I cannot imagine a human being strong enuff to plunge a nail into a tire! Just won't be possible. even if the tire is so thin you can see the air inside!
