You need to talk to a U.S. immigration lawyer. See post by Dolores further down this board about Yadira Morel, a well-known Dominican-American attorney specializing in immigration law who has an office in Santo Domingo.
Assuming you are in Santo Domingo, go visit the US Citizens Service Department at the US Consulate in Santo Domingo, where they will offer you free advice on your options. If you plan to move to the US, your son should qualify for US citizenship or at least residency.
