Wife's sister moved to a new building in Bella Vista and the "penthouse" has had ongoing
remodeling work for close to three months, six days a week.

She has been staying with us, and basically can't live in her apartment.

Are there any rules in this country when it comes to this?

Caribbean Paradise

Are there any rules as to the length of time

apartment remodeling can go on in buildings?

Wife's sister moved to another apartment.

A "Rico" is remodeling his "Penthouse".

It has been going on for 3 months.

It starts every day at 8 am loud banging hammers, ends around 5. Building has a blind eye.

She said the neighbors all bow down to him,

including the building administrator.

What can be done?

 Any advice is Appreciated.

All condo's have a rule book which should set out the amount of hours and days that work can take place. Get a copy of the one for the building that she is living in and it will clearly set out what work can be done when.

Although it is annoying, if he is pumping money into the property I guarantee he is legal. Further it is a healthy sign for the condominium as a whole that a wealthy guy is rehabbing his investment
