European flights cancelled
Due to the very bad winter weather in Europe, several flights have been cancelled and those flying to European locations are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport. The situation is especially bad for flights to the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain.

In Birmingham, East Midlands and Cardiff, England, there have been flight cancellations due to the snow and closing of roads affecting all forms of transport. 150 British Airways flights have been cancelled, including a number of flights out of Heathrow Airport on 10 December 2017.

The Zurich international airport in Switzerland has also cancelled around 40 take offs and landings due to the snow affecting the northwest of Europe, and flights are also cancelled from France and Germany, Portugal and Spain.
