The festive spirit !!

Around here motoconchos and carro publicos double their prices on the 23 and 24 of december.
Whatever, I can understand that.

I went up the road to my sole local colmado for some garlic for my roast. Ended up getting bits and pieces.
Now, all my veggies were bought last week from my usal vegetable truck.
A vegetable truck pulled up outside the colmado, to buy some rum.
The guy tries to sell some stuff while he is at it. He lists off his produce.
I hear "broccoli ". Cool. Lests get some broccoli.
We choose 3 broccolis and 4 red peppers.
The kid in the back of the pick up weighs the stuff..... 220 pesos.
I think, mmmhhhhh.
I even say mmmmmhh....
Boss guy/driver says look ! 1lb of peppers at X la lb and 2 lb of broccoli at Y la lb..... 220 pesos.
I would have just told him to fukc it, and left him his broccoli.
Not my wife, she picks up the veggie and heads back into the colmado, to use the colmados peso.
Verdict, half a lb of peppers, or just over. And 1. Something of broccoli.
Fixed peso, buyer beware.
I gave him 100 pesos and he took off faaaast............
