Absolutely wouldn't be a problem in Santo Domingo, I think the Colonial Zone is probably the gayest area of the entire Caribbean and there are four nightclubs, a gay sauna, Parque Duarte which is a big gathering spot. Most hotels are saying that a very good proportion of their guests at the weekend - I guess 30% - are gay.

The segment LGTB has a big piece of the cake in travel and tourism.

Ok, so it´s not usual that tourist (foreigners) go clubbing in major discos?
Are there like high end clubs (Miami style) in Santo Domingo?

And very well for you to go also to Santo Domingo. Welcome. Feel free to send me a PM if you need more specific details.

Cool, will PM you. Appreciate it.

What I mean is, we´re not coming like the ¨typical sex tourist¨ and just go to clubs full of ¨working ladies¨, nothing against it, but that´s not the flow I´m looking for.

I do want to party, have a good time, hook up with girls how I would do it back home, just clubbing or ¨normal interactions at the beach¨, going to a shopping mall like a local would do etc.

Basically I just want to go to Santo Domingo and ¨live like a local for a month¨ plus some tourist attractions.

The most important question,,,,, are they fluent in Spanish?

Yes, I studied Spanish in high school and lived in Spain for a year.
    Si hablo español casi perfecto.
