Quick question.

What are the most luxury hotels in Santo Domingo?

Is it safe to rent a villa in the colonial zone? Do these residential areas have security?

hotel nicolas deovando is an excellent hotel in the colonial zone ....and the colonial zone is very safe ...just keep your eyes and ears open as you should in any strange place and you will be fine

If you want to see what is available for condo and villa rentals go to VROB.com. Vacation rental by owner and search Santo Domingo. This will give you a good idea of the quality and price. Just remember security doesn't guarantee anything in the DR. If you are bringing people back to the rental your security just went out the window. Common sense!!!!!!!!!!

What I´m trying to say is, if these areas are know for luxury apartments/ condo´s wouldn't it make it an easy target to break in and rob?
