The Casa Del Mar hotel is a very nice hotel if you want a very relaxing vacation. There is no nightlife with the exception of the outside disco that they close whenever they feel like. The food and drinks there are fine. Try to be sure to make a reservation at the Grill Restaurant as the food is fabulous. As for activities, there are plenty of things to do during the day. The horseback riding is fun and is included in your vacation cost. There is also a free shuttle to Altos de Chavon, which is absolutely beautiful and a must to see. The Crazy Wheels tour is fun if you like to get VERY VERY dirty. I personally enjoyed this place except for the fact I found it a little quiet for my taste. Hope this helps.
