Well, well...

A few years ago Nuria Piera and Euclides Gutiérrez (high ranking PLD politician/historian) had an issue when she put him on the spotlight due to his unpaid multi-million pesos electricity bill and the electricity company's reluctance to cut the juice at his house (due to his social/political importance.)

Now Euclides Gutiérrez faces new money problems. He (70's year old) had a relationship with a young Dominican woman (21 years old when the behind-the-scenes fricky fricky started) and a kid was born. He never show any interest in the kid and even denied he was the father until a DNA test confirmed that he is the father.

The young mother went to Nuria to see if he would finally pay child support. She claims that he has cut all communication with her and their child.

I wonder if he will 'destroy' Nuria Piera again at another television program, as he did the last time she put him in the spotlight for not paying his electrical bill.

Ea muchacha en vez de estar en estudiando una carrera universitaria miren con que viejo andava de querida.Eso no tiene madre,al estado de descomposicion que ha llegado el ser humano,con viejo que en vez de darle placer y gusto,hopy lo que tiene es un gran dolor de cabeza,y me imagino que una desverguenza nacional,anda con semejante estulticia,que ya,hace tiempo el tre le paso por el lado y ni lo tomo como pasajero,por los mivimientos lentos al andar.Esa muchacha debe ser un referendo para otras,que estudien,y se dejen de andar con estorbo vivo,y asi evitar ese tipo de abazallamiento y desverguenza.No jodan con eso limosnero,que no da n gusto ni comiendo,viejos babosos y lengua de cemento.

A series of cancelled checks were published on Facebook yesterday of some of the payments he was making to her. 95K a month plus assorted other checks for around 45K.

She was pulling down some pretty good money from the guy.

Edit: I just noticed they were covered in Nuria's report too.

I dunno Chiri, only a few folks have made multiple comments on the relationship.

You would think there would be a heck of lot more comments if it was not so common.

Most of the criticism is aimed at her. However, in EG's case maybe it's considered a given that he's a scumbag.

The reason she's blamed is due to her beauty. Its understood that a woman with her looks catches the attention of just about any Dominican guy regardless of age, profession, etc. Basically, she's the one that gets to choose, not the guys.

Then what you say is added on top of that, but he's considered a 'scumbag' due to his responsibilities with the child which are not being met, not necessary for courting a very young woman.

I'm just saying, so don't kill the messenger. lol

That too, but even before this came to light he was not generally held in high regard because of corruption allegations.

Nuria touches the topic again, but this time criticizing that most people blame the young woman and not Euclides for the age difference, among other things. She claims this attitude is machismo because it shows that men can do anything and its acceptable, but women are closely scrutinized for even the simplest of things.

She also didn't like that no one is asking Euclides to renounce from his government position, when in other countries (namely the USA) politicians lose their job due to sexual scandals.

The total focus should be the child.
It takes two to tango.
Age is not a consequence as long as both are over 18 years age.
She was after money; he was after young and hot sex... they both got what they wanted.
In fact they got more than planned.
The court should make him pay the support ; that is it!
Maybe even ( due to his age) set up a foundation for the child

Far too many children abandoned out of the ''Curious and hot sex scene"........
In either case I doubt their moral judgment will change....

She is a "come vidrio" of epic proportions and those are always criticized and/or made fun of. If the case had been reverse, had the situation been with a man, he'd be made fun of too.

New details came out during the interview done by Julio Hazim to her and her lawyer.

1. She's from Santiago, has never had a good relationship with her father, and grew up with her mother.

2. She's a member of the PLD party and met Euclides due to the circumstances of being an active member in the party. It goes without saying that refusing sexual advances from a superior would've had detrimental consequences for her within the political party, and possibly with her job and/or future job prospects.

3. The courting took place over 3 months, she fell into a depression when she found out she was pregnant.

4. Euclides threatened her and her lawyer alleging that if they continue this "will have eternal consequences."

5. Euclides is threatning to take her kid away and put him in an institution.

6. Euclides has the judges in his pocket. The lawyer claims that she's referred to as "fecal matter" in the court and in front of everybody by Euclides lawyers. Every time they contact them, the lawyers insult them.

7. Euclides was sentenced by the court to comply with the child support in addition to paying half of extraordinary expenses relating to the child. He refuses to comply with what the court mandates, but because he's a high ranking PLD politician the court does absolutely nothing.

8. The lawyer also claims that poorer men are constantly physically arrested if they disregard a court mandating them to pay a mere RD$1,000 monthly for their children, yet this high ranking politician is proving to be above the law.

9. The young mother didn't want to make this public, which has been going on for years, but apparently Euclide's threats of taking the kid away from her and putting him in a government institution, his non-compliance attitude towards the court's mandate, plus the authorities innaction towards him simply because he's above the law is what forces her to bring this to public attention.
