Wow!
Even though I am Canadian ; I would never have expected the Air Ambulance to do this Pro Bono......
My faith in humanity is more secure than ever.

Way to go!

This could have been tragic and thank God there was a happy ending to this. Thrilled to see that there are still some good people in this world so hats off to the Air Ambulance service....but, and this is a big BUT, shame on the parents, leaving a child alone in a hotel room is disgusting and not acceptable no matter where you are in the world. That child could have lost her life and there is no excuse in the world that would make up for that. Thank God that the poor child escaped with minor injuries but the parents should be charged with neglect....there is only one victim here and that is the child. The very last thing they mention in the report is that the parents are now talking to their lawyer....well they should be, but not for compensation, but for the charges that they should be facing for child neglect!

This happened in November, 2017. It was an electrical fire and my understanding is the child is ok.

In the day of cell phones why would you leave your 3-year old unattended, even to step outside for a cigarette ? The mother was going to the casino to gamble or drink. THey should be investigated for leaving the girl - Don't they recall the case of Madeleine McCann in Portugal ?
