I have a question about renewing my visa. The lawyer renewing my visa tells me I again need “immigration insurance”. He is also not renewing my visa as married, which I am. He has recommendeded to my husband we not do this to guarantee my “customs rights to a move” for several years now. Why do I need immigration insurance when my husband doesn’t? I am married to a European man for ten years and we have lived here for several years and he has several properties including our home. My husband has never needed insurance.
