Looking For A Tech To Come Out And Do An Air Quality Check After A Re-Roof...

Just replaced old Cement Fiber Corrugated Sheet roof that I was told contained Asbestos. I would like to hire a tech to come out an do an air quality and an overall check to make sure all is safe now after the re-roof.

Does anyone have any references to someone that has or has access to the equipment to do this for me? I am located on the North Coast. Thank you in advance.

The first place to start is the Ministry of the Environment and there you find a list of all of the providers of environmental services. http://ambiente.gob.do/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/ListadodeGestores.pdf. I have been unable to get any help with this yet...Seems Asbestos testing is very uncommon in DR. Is there anyone that can refer me to someone that they have used before to do Asbestos testing?

in this case, hit the MOPC (ministerio de obras publicas y comunicaciones). they have a department that deals with general complains and on their website i see they offer inspections of "obras ilegales, vicios de construcción, etc."

Here is another one - the labour ministry. They check to make sure workplaces are safe for workers and checking for asbestos is part of that.
