The Bavaro Palace is beautiful, you'll love it. Make sure and eat at the La Brisa Restaraunt right on the beach. Great food with a great setting. We have stayed at the Bavaro Beach for the past three years.
We are suppose to leave 21 March for DR and had reservations at the Catalonia Resort but changed our reservations to the Bavaro Beach Palace. Apple Vacations was no help to us in this exchance and ended up costing us an additional $700 to switch but didn't want to spend our vacation sick!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone stayed at the Palace recently.
You have done the right choice!! We have been there twice, last time november 1998 and now we are travelling again in march! Enjoy your stay at the PALACE BAVARO!!
