Montoya was ripped off, he was increasing each lap until he was forced into the infield and damaged his "wing"

As I said, I haven't watched much "Indy" of late, but that was a great race

I think you have your races confused. Juan Pablo Montoya was closing on the leader of the Gran Prix of Canada when his engine let go in a big bang and a puff of smoke. 2nd race in a row that has happened to him.

Last thing I saw in the race was him bouncing through the infield and damaging his wing?
