Ceduela

We are going back to Dominican Republic to attempt to get my husbands Ceduela. He was there 3 weeks ago and could not get it due to elections. We are leaving this Friday and I want to know how long does the offices where we have to get the ceduela stay open. We will get in to POP at 1:30 and need to go to Montecristi to get the ceduela, but if I know they close early I wont rush to try to get there. Does anyone know what time they close?

I don't have the opening hours in mind but if you are landing in POP at 1.30 pm ( I assume pm ) , it'll take you 2 hours 30 minutes at least to get to Monte Cristi and you may get there a 4.00 ppm or so at the earliest. This is without counting the wait time at the airport at the bell. I believe the edificio publico will be closed by the time you get there.

Thank you for the info -- I guess I wont rush to get to Monti Cristi just another few day to hang out in Santiago.
