Distance from the Capital to Punta Cana

I'm going to Santo Domingo next month and I also wanted to visit Punta Cana, Does anyone know How far is from one place to the other? How many hours in distance?

You will need approx. 3 hour with the public bus system from SD to PUJ!

Distance

The distance is about 125 miles or 200 kilometers from the Duarte Bridge. 2.5 to 3 hrs travel time by car. Regards, PJT
