Am moving to DR april next year from the UK - yes i know it's a while off but am trying to plan as best i can, am starting my residency request, am going to be in the Puerto Plata area (Hopefully!), any advice on where to start looking for employment or any job agencies anyone can recommend in that area, or even any ideas to start me off would be great.

ANY advice on this or residency is very welcome and much appreciated:)

What skills and work experience do you have? Do you speak Spanish?

Thanks for your reply

I speak basic spanish - am doing night college at the moment to improve this, by the time i come out next year i will have become Conversational - at least.

I have two main trades - 5 years in Hotels and catering, and spent the last two years on an internet/PC helpline - programming/troubleshooting etc etc. Am happy to have a go at anything to be honest as long as it pays enough to keep me. Also speak French and German - any ideas???
